CrossFit Kids is a method for teaching Greg Glassman’s CrossFit to children ages 7-14. Based on the principle of Mechanics, Consistency, and then Intensity, CrossFit Kids emphasizes good movement throughout childhood and adolescence. Consistently good mechanics translates to physical literacy, enhanced sports performance and fewer sports injuries for kids. Not only that, a vast body of research indicates that exercise is beneficial to cognitive function, which means consistent adherence to the program can have a positive impact on children’s academic achievement.

Meet Two Cross Fit Parents, Shane and Shelly Montreuil…
Our family heard about Pike Road Cross Fit during the summer of 2016. Some frind’s of ours—the Hemphillis—were sending their kids to the 2 day summer camps… We decided to send our three children for the after school workouts. Everytime they go, they return with rose, red cheeks, smiles and lots of stories about the games they played and the workouts that they did.
We highly recommend Pike Road Cross Fit for people of all ages! I am always impressed with the care that the coaches take to insure proper form is being executed. We have also heard testimonies from older women who decided to commit to Pike Road Cross Fit and are now feeling stronger!
